Top 3 Instagram Scheduling Apps

There are so many options out there when it comes to scheduling services, but it can be overwhelming as you start your search!
If finding a scheduling service has been put on your back burner for months, here’s your chance to do some more research! Since there are so many choices out there, find one that fits you best. You really can’t go wrong! A lot of scheduling services are great, but in this post, I am going to be unpacking my three favorite options in order to help narrow down the focus for you.
The three platforms I’ll be focusing on are Plann, Planoly, and Later. At the end of the post I’ll also include a list of other popular services in case you’re a person who wants to see all of your options before making a decision! If you focus mainly on Instagram, an account with Planoly could be great, but if you manage multiple platforms, Later is an awesome option. I personally use Plann because I enjoy how easy it is to use, I love the app (and now Desktop option) and it has worked great for me!
My biggest tip for you as you read this post and decide on a scheduling service is not to overthink it. Don’t waste your valuable time worrying about picking the “right” one. Find a scheduling platform that you enjoy the aesthetic/user-friendliness of and then do a free trial if you’re still not sure if you’re ready to go for it. I focused specifically on Instagram scheduler’s for this post because I am a big fan of Facebook’s own free scheduling service and using Tailwind for Pinterest, so I personally only use a scheduling service for Instagram.
A few questions you should think through as you explore the different scheduling options are:
Will it let me schedule Instagram stories?
What are the analytics like?
How easy is it for me to pick-up?
Can I schedule a time to post manually as well as an option to post automatically?
Does it let me save hashtag sets?

If you’re worried about money, I totally get it! I was a HUGE bootstrapper when I started my business. I held off on investing in an Instagram scheduling app (mind you - a lot of these are available for free or for $7-$9/month) for wayyyyy too long, and I wish I would have gone for it much sooner. Schedulers/planning apps will save you SO much time and they’re extremely helpful for posting consistent images with your brand! So with that, here is the breakdown of my three favorite Instagram scheduling apps
1. Plann
Plann is the platform I use because I only needed an Instagram scheduler. I loved the backend of Plann and how easy it was to use. Being able to see the whole grid, move posts around, and schedule accordingly has been great for helping me create a more cohesive brand. It also is SO helpful to be able to save different batches of hashtags that I’m able to copy and paste depending on the post. I have had an awesome experience with Plann, but I wanted to include the other options in the post so that you can pick the one that works best for YOU!
