Me

You built your business on creativity. But lately, your time keeps getting lost in the logistics.

That’s where I can help.

Hi, I’m Lori.

First, let me assure you that you are not the first creative entrepreneur to feel overwhelmed by your business. (And you definitely won’t be the last!) My job is to help you get out of the overwhelm and back to doing what you do best.

But let’s start from the beginning.

I started working in the creative industry while I was still in college. When I married a cowboy and moved to a small town in northern California, I kept it up. I was a copywriter, a social media marketer, a website designer, and you name it. Along the way, I noticed a trend...

The creative entrepreneurs I worked with were incredibly talented and totally overwhelmed.

They had started their businesses because they loved creating, and people loved what they created. But as their businesses grew, so did the responsibilities. They had more clients calling, more emails in their inbox, more sticky notes cluttering their desks. The stress was constant and unsustainable. That’s when I thought, “I think I can help.”

Welcome to the world, LAB Creative Co.

There aren’t many people that find processes and programs sexy, but they’re just my cup of tea. I realized that if I got behind-the-scenes of these creative businesses, sorted out the logistics, hand-picked programs, and put in place new processes, we could free up both brain space and actual time.

(Name one thing sexier than free time? I’ll wait.)

So let’s check in,

How are you feeling? Ready to take the plunge and start sorting out the business-y details? Here’s how I can help.

Or, warm up your tea, and let’s keep getting to know each other.

City girl falls in love with cowboy. Cowboy says, “Let’s move to California.”

No, not that California.

Northern California. Alturas, California, population 2,500. There wasn’t a beach or an ocean in sight, but it was beautiful in its own way. And honestly, LAB Creative Co. probably wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for Alturas. I’m grateful.

I’ve learned a thing or two since then

  • Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart. At times, it can feel like a rollercoaster, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world!

  • There are few things that can’t be lightened by dark chocolate, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, and red wine.

  • Pets are the best business investment if you work from home

  • Always be learning. (A few of my favorite authors are James Clear, Simon Sinek, and Shauna Niequist)

I hope we work together soon.
